Privacy policy
This policy describes RigFit, an independent site run by one person. It was last updated on 16 October 2026. RigFit does not offer accounts. Questions go to [email protected].
Newsletter signup
The home page has a form that asks for an email address. If a newsletter endpoint is configured, either an embed or a form action, submitting the form sends that address to the provider operating the endpoint. Beehiiv is the intended provider. Their handling of the address is covered by their own policy, and you can unsubscribe with them.
If no endpoint is configured, the form stays on this site. It checks that the address looks valid and then tells you that delivery is not connected. In that state RigFit does not transmit the address and does not store it.
Amazon affiliate cookies
RigFit participates in the Amazon Associates Program. “Check price on Amazon” is a link to an Amazon search. When you follow it, Amazon may set cookies in your browser, including a cookie that records that the visit came from this site. Amazon uses those cookies to attribute a later purchase. RigFit may earn a commission from that attribution, at no extra cost to you. RigFit does not receive your Amazon account, your order history, or the cookie itself. Amazon’s own privacy notice describes what they store.
eBay affiliate cookies
RigFit does not currently publish eBay Partner Network links, so a visit to this site does not set eBay affiliate cookies. If an eBay affiliate link is added, following it would send you to eBay, and eBay may set a cookie to attribute a purchase. This page will name that change if it happens. eBay’s privacy notice would then govern what they store.
Newegg affiliate cookies
RigFit does not currently publish Newegg affiliate links, so a visit to this site does not set Newegg affiliate cookies. If a Newegg affiliate link is added, following it would send you to Newegg, and Newegg may set a cookie to attribute a purchase. This page will name that change if it happens. Newegg’s privacy notice would then govern what they store.
Analytics
RigFit does not load a third-party analytics product. There is no analytics tag in the app. The host that serves the site can keep ordinary request logs, such as IP address, user agent, the URL requested, and the time, in order to run and secure the service. Those logs are not a traffic dashboard published by RigFit.
What this site stores on its own
The catalog pages are static. RigFit does not run user accounts, comments, or a checkout. The checker keeps your choice in the page address so you can share it. That address is not a profile.
